Veteran federal leader brings nearly 40 years of expertise to drive innovation and elevate client success

GovStrive is proud to announce the appointment of Robin Bailey as Director of Client Experience and Managed Services. Robin joined GovStrive in 2025, bringing nearly four decades of distinguished service and leadership across major federal agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Food Nutrition and Consumer Services (FNCS), Forest Service (FS) and Department of Air Force (AF).

In his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer at the CDC, Robin oversaw all aspects of agency operations—people, budget, contracts, grants, systems, technology, infrastructure, safety, security, and risk. Previously, as Human Capital Officer at the IRS, Robin led nearly 2,000 HR professionals supporting approximately 80,000 employees nationwide. His leadership at USDA included managing $25 billion in nutrition programs for the Food and Nutrition Service, across eight states and directing human capital for an estimated 50,000 employees at Forest Service.
An Air Force veteran and former Senior Executive Service (SES) member, Robin holds a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Park College.
