GovStrive is proud to sponsor the Dublin Summer Youth Works 2020 Program!
From June 1st to July 24th GovStrive, along with other businesses in Dublin-Laurens County, will be employing students to support and prepare them for a successful transition into the workforce. Youth will be given opportunities to learn about different industries and develop professional skills – an experience that GovStrive sees as so instrumental for the community that we are sponsoring the program!
One of GovStrive’s core values is to Do the Right Things for Our Community. We believe in supporting outreach and philanthropic programs in the communities in which we operate, providing employment and professional development opportunities in the communities where we live and work, and providing opportunities to those who have served in our armed forces.
Our sponsorship of this program is evidence of this.
Youth participating in the Dublin Summer Youth Works 2020 Program will be given 32 working hours of experience each week for a minimum of 8 weeks. At GovStrive, they will gain exposure into the operations of a business, as well as be coached and mentored on developing soft skills that will aid in continued professional development.
